In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring materials, resources, and production schedules align to support operational excellence and on-time customer delivery. You'll work cross-functionally with Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Sales to drive efficiency and keep production running smoothly. This position is based full-time, on-site at our Fairview, OR facility. What You'll Do As a Production Planner, you will coordinate production schedules and material planning activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, capacity constraints, and material availability. Utilize Macola ERP software to generate, manage, and track work orders while maintaining accurate planning and inventory data. Identify material shortages and coordinate work orders to ensure uninterrupted production flow. Monitor work order progress and proactively address scheduling conflicts, delays, and bottlenecks. Partner with Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to align production schedules with supplier lead times and inventory availability. Participate in daily production meetings and provide updates on priorities, shortages, and schedule performance. Analyze MRP data to identify production requirements and opportunities for improved efficiency. Collaborate with Sales on delivery commitments, lead times, and customer order status. Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical and production challenges. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and productivity enhancements. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and material shortages.
