Production Order Clerk Help keep production moving The Production Order Clerk helps turn the production schedule into organized, ready-to-run work. You’ll release production orders, prepare and distribute paperwork, and coordinate with the Warehouse team so materials and kits are available when Production needs them. Accuracy, clear communication, and careful recordkeeping are important in this fast-paced manufacturing role. What you’ll do Release production orders according to the established production schedule. Prepare and distribute daily production paperwork. Coordinate with the Warehouse team to ensure production picks and kits are available. Maintain accurate production order records in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC). Verify order documentation is complete before releasing orders. Communicate order changes to Production and Warehouse. Perform daily cycle counts in accordance with the company’s inventory control program. Keep production documents organized and maintain filing records. Provide administrative support to the Production Control Supervisor. What you’ll bring High school diploma or equivalent. Data entry and computer skills, including intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. A strong understanding of inventory transactions, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation. Two or more years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics preferred. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or another ERP system preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Work environment This role works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. The work environment may include exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
