Production Manager - CNC Machining

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for providing effective leadership and line management to safely meet production goals, at targeted cost levels, while meeting customer expectations for quality and delivery. A key focus is the development of strategic and tactical plans to assure all activities are focused on continuous improvement. Roles and Responsibilities: *Lead the workforce to safely meet or exceed production targets and goals including continuous improvement projects and enhancing employee engagement *Provide technical machining support to the operations through problem solving and training *Support QA team to ensure product quality meets specifications *Oversee the care and maintenance of all equipment, systems and facilities *Oversee the hiring, orienting and training of technical production employees *Oversee the procurement and scheduling of manufacturing equipment *Perform management responsibilities, including goal setting, planning, direction, training and evaluation to meet the department needs and employee's growth *Maintain organized, clean, safe and efficient manufacturing operations. Keep strong 5s and PM discipline Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree preferred, STEM discipline preferred *5+ years experience in an ISO manufacturing management role *5+ years experience in CNC machining, with plastics preferred *Experience with an ERP (Syteline/INFOR) a plus *Strong computer skills, utilizing Microsoft products and Fusion360 *Proven ability to apply knowledge and experience to define problems, generate alternatives and execute solutions. *Ability to build teams, lead by example, motivate employees and grow people.
