Production Manager

XTEND is a leading company specializing in the development and deployment of revolutionary human-guided autonomous drone systems for defense and homeland security applications. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to join our growing team in the United States. Job Summary: The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations, ensuring efficient and timely manufacturing of XTEND's cutting-edge drone systems. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in production management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Plan, direct, and coordinate production activities to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products. Develop and implement production schedules. Manage and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Lead and mentor a team of production personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and other departments to ensure seamless production flow. Manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials and components. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and reliability. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements: Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or technology industry. Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of quality management systems and lean manufacturing principles. Experience with ERP systems and production management software. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and assembly. Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management systems. Located in Tampa area - on site
