The organization combines design, manufacturing, and construction to improve efficiency, reduce project costs and schedules, and expand production capacity through Lean Manufacturing, automation, and advanced technology. ________________________________________ Job Summary: The Production Manager directs manufacturing personnel and processes to ensure efficient, safe, and on-time production in accordance with pipeline demands, industry standards, and quality requirements. This position has responsibility for all production personnel during an assigned shift and supports plant production goals through effective planning, reporting, leadership, and operational execution. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage production personnel for the assigned shift, including supervisors, assistant managers, team leads, and production employees Plan production runs and establish daily production priorities based on schedules, pipeline demand, labor availability, materials, equipment, and quality requirements Assign labor, materials, and equipment to support production targets and maintain required throughput Monitor production flow, identify bottlenecks or constraints, and implement timely solutions to minimize delays and improve efficiency Conduct shift-start meetings and communicate production goals, assignments, safety expectations, and operational priorities Maintain accurate pre- and post-shift reporting, schedules, attendance records, staffing assignments, and other required production documentation Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and HR to resolve production issues and support effective cross-functional execution Monitor quality requirements and support corrective actions when production or process issues are identified Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety, attendance, housekeeping, and workplace standards Ensure required safety training and meetings are completed and reinforce safe work practices throughout the production floor Apply and coach Lean Manufacturing principles to improve standard work, productivity, flow, housekeeping, and overall operational performance Support hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and development of production employees, including identifying high-potential employees for lead and supervisory opportunities Provide timely coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations while holding employees accountable to production, quality, safety, and attendance expectations Complete ad hoc analysis and reporting requested by plant leadership and meet required production deadlines ________________________________________ Qualifications Required: 5+ years of production or manufacturing leadership experience Demonstrated ability to lead production teams, assign work, manage performance, and maintain accountability across a shift Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify production constraints and implement practical solutions in real time Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work orders, drawings/prints, logs, and technical instructions. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, material flow, quality requirements, and workplace safety Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, 5S, standard work, or similar operational improvement practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing production demands, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Mic…
