Production Manager

Production Manager The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. This role leads production teams, manages performance, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. Job Duties Manage daily production activities to meet schedule and customer requirements. Lead, coach, and develop production employees and supervisors. Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams. Analyze production issues and implement corrective actions. Reduce waste, downtime, and inefficiencies through continuous improvement. Track production metrics and prepare operational reports. Maintain staffing levels and coordinate employee training. Support Lean Manufacturing and process improvement initiatives. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience with production scheduling and workflow management. Knowledge of safety, quality, and operational best practices. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement preferred.
