Production Manager
Akimbo ClubAbout Akimbo Akimbo Club is a direct-to-consumer apparel brand. Our product is cut-and-sew, made with manufacturers overseas, and released in drops, so timing and quality matter on every run. The role You take designs from approved tech pack to finished goods: sampling, fit, bulk production, quality, and cost. You’ll work directly with our overseas cut-and-sew factories every day. Garment manufacturing experience is required. You need to already know how apparel gets made. What you’ll do Run sampling with overseas factories: proto, fit, and pre-production samples through approval Manage bulk production from PO to ship date and hold factories to timelines Own factory relationships and negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times Set quality standards, review inspections, and fix defects at the source Track cost per unit against budget and find savings without cutting quality Build production calendars and keep drops landing on time Coordinate freight and inbound delivery to our 3PL What you bring 4+ years in cut-and-sew garment manufacturing (production or sourcing) — required Direct experience managing overseas factories Working knowledge of fabrics, trims, construction, costing, and QC Comfortable reading tech packs and giving factories clear sample feedback Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable running many POs at once Able to travel to factories as needed Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
