Production Manager
Superior EssexPOSITION OVERVIEW The Production Manager directs and coordinates activities relating to the production of company products through subordinate supervisors. Primary Responsibilities Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of products ordered Plans and directs production activities and established production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost containment factors Coordinates production activities with Procurement, Maintenance and Quality Control agendas to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines and equipment Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance and operational reports to determine performance to goal and causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality Revises production schedules and priorities, as result of, equipment failure or operational issues Education Requirements Associates Degree or equivalent education and experience Experience Requirements Three (3) years of related experience and /or training Licenses and/or Certifications Required n/a Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Analytical skills Supervisory skills Computer Equipment and Software Requirements Microsoft Office Suite Additional Details : Superior Essex Communications is a leading manufacturer and supplier of communications cables and accessories, serving the telecommunications, enterprise, and industrial markets.
