This position bridges manufacturing operations, production planning, materials management, inventory control, and logistics to ensure the right materials, resources, information, and products are available at the right time to meet program and customer commitments. The Production & Logistics Analyst will work closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Program Management, suppliers, and customers to coordinate the flow of materials and work throughout the manufacturing process. The position will provide direct support to production planning and execution, including work-order and schedule tracking, material planning, WIP monitoring, shop-floor coordination, production status reporting, and identification and resolution of schedule constraints. This position will blend support in logistics and material support, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, kitting, packaging, transportation coordination, and associated documentation. In addition, this position will also support manufacturing operations through production planning, work-order and schedule tracking, material planning, shop-floor coordination, and continuous improvement. This position is an important link between material availability, manufacturing execution, and on-time program delivery. The successful candidate will help identify and resolve material and production constraints, improve operational flow, maintain accurate records and traceability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce delays, and strengthen overall manufacturing performance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of tasks from initiation through completion. Success in this role requires a hands-on approach, strong communication and follow-through, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functional areas in a fast-paced small-business aerospace and government contracting environment.
