Production Line Leader - Paint

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Line Leader specializing in Paint to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will oversee the daily operations of the paint production line, ensuring high-quality output, safety compliance, and efficient workflow. Duties Supervise and coordinate all activities on the paint production line, including mixing, application, and finishing processes. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all manufacturing operations. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, airless paint sprayers, and other fabrication tools to support production tasks. Manage materials handling using forklifts, cranes, and warehouse equipment to ensure timely supply of raw materials and proper disposal of waste. Conduct quality inspections with precision measuring instruments and ensure finished products meet strict standards for auto body repair, industrial painting, and auto painting. Train team members on proper use of machinery, tools, and safety procedures while fostering a culture of continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles. Maintain accurate production records, perform basic math calculations for measurements and quantities, and coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment repairs or mechanical troubleshooting. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing environments with knowledge of machining, fabrication, or assembly processes. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and troubleshoot power tools, welding equipment, cranes, forklifts, and airless paint sprayers. Strong understanding of industrial painting techniques including auto body repair and construction painting. Familiarity with materials handling procedures within warehouse settings; experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. Ability to use precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments. Hands-on experience with hand tools, auto painting techniques, welding processes, and fabrication methods. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
