Production leader cheese packaging

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Production Leader for Cheese Packaging to oversee and coordinate our cheese packaging operations within our food production facility. Forklift experience is highly desirable. English speaking is required. Bilingual is desirable. Must possess strong leadership skills, and have a good understanding of manufacturing management within the food industry. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, uphold safety standards, and ensure that all packaging processes meet regulatory and quality standards. Duties Lead and supervise the cheese packaging team to meet daily production goals while maintaining strict adherence to safety, sanitation, and quality sta Ensure all packaging activities comply with regulatory/legal standards in food production, including food safety management protocols. Monitor and enforce sanitation procedures to uphold cleanliness in the production environment, preventing contamination and ensuring product integrity. Manage inventory levels of packaging materials, coordinate procurement needs, and oversee proper storage practices. Train team members on safety standards in production, proper handling of food products, sanitation procedures, and GMP compliance. Experience Prior experience managing production or assembly teams in a food production environment. Ability to apply basic math skills for inventory calculations, measurements, and process adjustments.
