PRODUCTION LEAD Clean Foods Manufacturing LLC Job Summary The Production Lead leads and supports the production team at Clean Foods Manufacturing LLC to ensure daily manufacturing goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and with consistent quality. This hands-on leadership role coordinates daily production activities, reinforces food-safety and sanitation requirements, supports equipment operation and troubleshooting, and promotes accountability and continuous improvement throughout the facility. Being Bi-Lingual is a major plus! Responsibilities Lead and supervise production employees to achieve daily production goals while maintaining a positive, respectful, and productive work environment. Communicate daily production schedules, priorities, staffing assignments, product specifications, and operational changes to the team. Train new employees on production procedures, equipment operation, food-safety practices, sanitation requirements, and quality standards. Monitor production throughout the shift and address issues affecting safety, quality, yield, efficiency, or schedule attainment. Ensure employees follow established SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices, sanitation procedures, and workplace-safety requirements. Verify that raw materials, equipment, molds, racks, production documents, and other required supplies are properly staged before production begins. Oversee proper material handling, product movement, work-in-process storage, and finished-product transfer throughout the facility. Monitor material usage, production output, yield, waste, labor efficiency, downtime, and other operating metrics. Complete and submit accurate daily production records, batch documentation, traveler logs, and production reports. Identify production delays, process deviations, quality concerns, material shortages, and equipment problems and communicate them promptly to management. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, Fulfillment, and management to resolve production issues and maintain workflow. Support equipment setup, basic troubleshooting, changeovers, cleaning, and shutdown procedures. Confirm that finished products meet applicable specifications before being transferred to the next stage of production or fulfillment. Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe production environment. Coach employees, reinforce expectations, and address performance concerns when necessary. Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, organization, labor efficiency, yield, and waste reduction. Perform other production-related duties as assigned. Qualifications At least one year of experience leading or supervising a production, manufacturing, food-processing, or assembly team. Previous experience in a manufacturing or food-production environment preferred. Experience working with production lines, batch manufacturing, or standardized work processes preferred. Ability to read and follow SOPs, work instructions, formulas, production schedules, and product specifications. Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, sanitation requirements, and food-safety procedures preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize work and make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to train, coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable for safety, quality, attendance, and performance expectations. Ability to work effectively with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, Fulfillment, and management. Strong problem-solving and basic equipment-troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of workplace-safety requirements and safe material-handling practices. Ability to accurately collect, document, review, and communicate production data. Ability to perform the physical responsibilities associated with a hands-on manufacturing environment.
