Production/Inventory Manager

Job Overview The Production Manager coordinates daily production priorities, employee assignments, and inventory activity across departments. This role keeps work moving as workloads change by communicating expectations, guiding employees, monitoring progress, and resolving daily problems. The position works closely with the Director of Operations to keep employees on track, maintain accurate inventory, and follow through on outstanding tasks. Duties Communicate daily goals, priorities, and deadlines to the team. Assign work and clarify expectations for employees. Answer questions and provide direction throughout the day. Reassign trained employees as workloads and priorities change. Monitor progress, address delays, and follow up on unfinished work. Coordinate workflow across all departments. Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.. Maintain and update spreadsheets in Google Sheets. Complete inventory audits. Manage RMAs, coordinate returns, and track them through completion. Request and follow up on credits, making sure they are received and recorded correctly. Experience and Qualifications Previous management or production management experience is required. Experience assigning work, directing employees, and holding a team accountable. Production, manufacturing, warehouse, or inventory experience is preferred. Ability to organize competing priorities and adjust plans. Clear communication and practical problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail when monitoring work and inventory. Ability to collaborate across departments and follow through without repeated reminders. Comfortable using spreadsheets, inventory systems, and common tracking tools. Comfortable using AI tools to support daily work. Training on company procedures and systems will be provided. Schedule and Location Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. In person at one location in Burlington, NC 27215. Benefits 401(k). Paid time off. Paid holidays.
