Production/Fulfillment Associate

Pinetree Garden Seeds is seeking enthusiastic, dynamic individuals to join our team as full-time Production/Fulfillment Associates . As a Production/Fulfillment Associate you will work under the direction and guidance of our Fulfillment Team Leaders, our Production and Purchasing Coordinator, and Senior Management. You will spend time working in the departments of Production & Fulfillment based upon the needs of the business. During the months of May-Dec, the majority of your work hours will be in Production. In Jan-April, the majority of your work hours will be in Fulfillment. Production: Hand packing seeds into seed packets in preparation for sale and distribution. · Follow instructions from a written production order · Pull bulk seed from storage · Weigh and record bulk seed weight · Pack seeds into seed packets based on production order instructions · Ensure accurate seed counts per packet · Maintain a clean and organized workspace Fulfillment: Preparing customer orders for shipping. During our busy season (Jan-April) we ship out upwards of 1000 customer orders per day. · Picking customer orders using pick sheet · Understanding flow of warehouse pick-floor and item location system · Staging orders · Scanning orders into inventory management software · Packing and shipping orders Who we are: Pinetree Garden Seeds is a family-owned seed company with a mission to help home gardeners succeed. Skills · A can-do, go-getter attitude · Excellent communication skills · Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively · Flexibility and comfort working both autonomously and collaboratively · Capacity to accurately enter data into various platforms · Ability to follow both verbal and written guidance · Must contribute to a positive work environment & culture · Light manufacturing and or order fulfillment experience a plus · Warehouse, shipping/receiving experience a plus Other Considerations · This is a Full-Time position. Our definition of full-time is 30-40 hours per week.
