About the Role: The Production Forklift Operator on the night shift plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials within the production facility during overnight hours. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts to transport raw materials, components, and finished products to designated areas, supporting continuous production flow. The operator will collaborate closely with production and warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy and timely delivery of materials. Attention to safety protocols and equipment maintenance is paramount to prevent accidents and minimize downtime. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to meeting production targets and maintaining operational excellence during the night shift. Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience operating forklifts in a production or warehouse environment. Ability to work night shifts consistently and reliably. Basic understanding of safety standards related to material handling and forklift operation. Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and operating machinery. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a manufacturing or production facility. Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills. Additional certifications related to workplace safety or equipment operation. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team during overnight shifts. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with production and logistics teams. Responsibilities: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move materials within the production area. Load and unload materials from trucks, storage racks, and production lines according to schedule and priority. Maintain accurate records of materials moved and assist with inventory control and stock organization.
