Production Coordinator As an exciting and fast-growing leader within the international corporate event and tradeshow exhibit industry, Pro-X Event is looking to expand our team with a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Production Coordinator . The Production Coordinator is responsible for the final verification and documentation of shipments travelling nationally and internationally, including destinations across Canada and the United States. Working closely with the Production and Operations teams, this role serves as a critical final checkpoint before shipments leave our facility, ensuring every crate, component, and required material is accounted for and properly prepared. Given the distance these shipments travel and the limited opportunity to correct missing items once they are in transit, this position requires exceptional attention to detail, independent judgment, and a strong sense of accountability. The successful candidate takes ownership of the final inspection process and ensures shipments meet Pro-X Event's standards before leaving the building. Location: Mississauga, Ontario (In-Person | Warehouse Setting) Starting Rate: $30.00/hr with a guaranteed 35 hours per week Responsibilities: Conduct thorough, item-by-item inspections of every crate, skid, and shipment designated for national and international destinations, verifying contents against order requirements and packing lists. Take ownership of the final shipment verification process, identifying and resolving missing, incorrect, or damaged items before dispatch. Photograph completed crates and loaded trucks, maintaining clear visual records of outgoing shipments and their contents. Verify that all materials are properly packed, labelled, secured, and organized for safe transportation. Coordinate with Production, Operations, Project Management, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and confirm shipment readiness. Exercise sound judgment when identifying discrepancies, escalating unresolved issues, and determining when a shipment requires further review before release. Maintain accurate inspection checklists, shipment documentation, and photographic records to support accountability and traceability. Identify opportunities to strengthen shipment verification procedures and reduce errors, omissions, and preventable shipping issues. ​ Qualifications: Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, including in-person, telephone, and email communication. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to methodically verify orders and identify discrepancies. Highly organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Takes ownership of responsibilities and follows tasks through to completion without needing constant direction. Comfortable working hands-on in a warehouse environment, including handling and inspecting equipment and materials. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments. Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, or a similar hands-on environment is an asset. Comfortable using computers to review order information, maintain records, and document shipments. A proactive problem-solver who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and ensuring nothing gets overlooked.
