Job Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Control Team Member, where your expertise will drive efficiency and excellence across our production processes. Duties Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using ERP systems such as SAP and other manufacturing management tools to meet delivery deadlines. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to optimize raw material availability through MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and supply chain analytics. Analyze production data in Microsoft Excel to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement utilizing lean manufacturing principles like Six Sigma and lean management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality control, assembly, and operations management to streamline workflows and enhance overall plant performance. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement by applying process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste and increase productivity. Oversee production planning activities, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts while managing capacity constraints within manufacturing management systems. Support plant management in implementing lean management practices that foster a culture of operational excellence and safety. Qualifications Proven experience in production management, manufacturing management, or operations management within a manufacturing environment. Strong familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent enterprise resource planning platforms; proficiency in MRP is essential. Demonstrated ability to analyze Excel data for process insights and decision-making purposes. Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma methodologies, and process improvement strategies. Experience with production scheduling, supply chain management, and plant management processes. Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments. Ability to lead teams with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations management or related field preferred.
