Position Summary: The Production Control Expeditor is responsible for monitoring and expediting production orders to support on-time completion in accordance with the master production schedule. This role coordinates closely with Production, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering to identify and resolve scheduling, material, and production constraints. Primary Responsibilities: · Monitor and expedite production orders to ensure on-time completion in accordance with the master schedule. · Coordinate with production, materials, purchasing, quality, and engineering to resolve schedule or material constraints. · Track work-in-process (WIP) and communicate status updates to internal stakeholders. · Identify potential production delays and proactively drive corrective actions. · Maintain accurate production data within ERP/MRP systems. · Support inventory control initiatives, material availability, and packaging. · Participate in daily/weekly production meetings. · Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies. · Assist and perform additional tasks as assigned or needed. · Occasional travel as needed. Qualifications: · High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or manufacturing preferred. · 1+ years of experience in production control, scheduling, expediting, or manufacturing operations. · Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems. · Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. · Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic data reporting. · Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is a plus. · Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver’s license.
