EmploybridgeProduction Control Coordinator We are supporting the hiring of two Production Control Coordinators for a growing manufacturing operation in the western Chicago suburbs. These are full-time, direct-hire opportunities, with separate openings available for weekday and weekend schedules. Compensation: $25-$28/hour Schedule: Weekday and Weekend openings available Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire Reports To: Production Control Supervisor Position Overview The Production Control Coordinator plays an important role in keeping production and inventory records accurate and up to date. You’ll work closely with production teams and material handlers to ensure work orders are processed correctly, materials are available when needed, inventory is reconciled, and potential shortages or discrepancies are addressed before they impact production. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with data, staying organized, and making sure the details behind production are accurate. What You’ll Be Doing Enter production, labor, and material transactions into the ERP system Process and close completed work orders accurately and on time Review and resolve inventory, material, lot, count, and scrap discrepancies Create and process inventory transfers and transfer orders Reconcile line-side inventory after completed production runs Coordinate material staging with production teams and material handlers Monitor for material shortages and communicate potential issues before they impact production Maintain accurate production and inventory records throughout the shift Communicate production misses, shortages, and other issues to supervisors and floor personnel What We’re Looking For Experience in manufacturing, production, inventory, warehouse operations, or a similar environment preferred Experience using an ERP or MRP system; Acumatica experience is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills Basic Microsoft Excel skills Ability to identify discrepancies and follow through until they are resolved Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working closely with both production teams and leadership Proactive approach to identifying and communicating potential problems Why This Opportunity This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing organization.
