Production Control Analyst - 2nd shift - Manufacturing Automotive Experienced

Job Overview As a Production Control Analyst on the second shift, you’ll coordinate production plans and inventory for an automotive manufacturing operation. You’ll use production management systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools to align schedules, materials, and demand. This experienced role calls for strong technical proficiency, careful data analysis, and clear communication across teams. Responsibilities ● Plan and maintain inventory levels for assigned parts within established inventory policies and targets. ● Coordinate the flow of parts between the supply base and the manufacturing plant. ● Analyze forecast demand to plan inventory requirements, and release material orders that meet inventory targets and support manufacturing. ● Expedite material as needed to meet changing requirements, and escalate issues to ensure customer requirements are met. ● Work with production personnel to clarify processing methods. ● Review and edit source data for conformance to established standards; identify errors for review and resolution. ● Process requisitions and material releases, track back orders, and maintain current product information files. ● Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the company's Quality and Environmental Policies. Requirements Experience in automotive manufacturing, Two (2) years of related work experience preferred (production control, materials planning, purchasing, or inventory management). Working knowledge of supply chain management, supply chain processes, inventory management, and inventory management systems. Experience with SAP, Oracle, or comparable production control and ERP systems; familiarity with lean manufacturing is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and Excel data analysis. Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities on second shift. Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
