POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for accurately completing WMS kit-building processes, pallet and carton identification, labels, and related production and inventory records. Maintains component-to-finished-product traceability and performs the required build checks so completed kits match approved orders and customer instructions. POSITION DETAILS Use the approved documentation, current work instructions, bill of materials, and specification sheets for each assigned order. Confirm required Production and Quality startup approvals are complete before beginning build transactions. Complete WMS kit builds using the correct warehouse, component location, kit run, finished item, lot, and quantity. Scan the finished-pallet LPN and accurately select component pallets and quantities consumed. Verify component item, lot, LPN, and available quantity before posting a build. Contact Inventory Control for shortages, missing transfers, unavailable kit runs, or discrepancies; do not substitute components or lots without authorization. Build only to the authorized order quantity. Additional quantity requires a new order. Attach the correct LPN to the specification sheet and verify the table or line, order, kit run, item, lot, and quantity. Initial required tags and records. Use green LPNs and specification sheets for organic work as instructed. Complete customer carton scanning and pallet association, verify PO, item, quantity, pack, and orientation, and use the required destination specification sheet. Resolve duplicate-carton errors before continuing. Additional responsibilities Complete case-building transactions, for various customers processes, using quantity per case rather than full-pallet quantity. Verify each case and component selection, prevent duplicate carton IDs, and print the required customer labels under current instructions. Record applicable lot, manufacturing-date, expiration-date, and best-by information accurately. Keep physical product identification aligned with the system and preserve traceability through each transaction. Maintain accurate build and label records, communicate unresolved discrepancies at handoff, follow GMP and safety rules, and keep the work area orderly. Perform other related duties assigned by the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Position requirements High school diploma or GED required. Previous production, warehouse, inventory, labeling, or related experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for component, case, pallet, and order quantities. Ability to follow work instructions, bills of materials, specification sheets, and lot-control requirements. Ability to use WMS, barcode scanners, label printers, and approved electronic forms after training. Clear communication, accurate recordkeeping, and completion of required customer, GMP, safety, and task-specific training.
