Description

The Bellevue Beverage Plant has an opening for an onsite Production Buyer Planner. Nonunion, hourly position.

 

The position will be based in Bellevue, WA. It is on-site and not open to relocation.

 

The salary range is $26.09 to $34.78 an hour.

Main responsibilities

  • Source, negotiate, and purchase raw materials, packaging, and supplies to support production.

  • Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.

  • Plan and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.

  • Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments to avoid overstocking or shortages.

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on material needs and delivery timelines.

  • Analyze data and prepare reports on purchasing, production, and inventory metrics.

  • Manage supplier performance and resolve any issues related to deliveries, quality, or pricing.

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement and production planning processes.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including SOX requirements, for purchasing and financial reporting.

What we are searching for

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field, preferred

  • Previous experience in procurement, production planning, or supply chain management, preferably in the beverage or food industry.

  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and adherence to company purchasing policies.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
