Production Buyer Planner
AlbertsonsThe Bellevue Beverage Plant has an opening for an onsite Production Buyer Planner. Nonunion, hourly position.
The position will be based in Bellevue, WA. It is on-site and not open to relocation.
The salary range is $26.09 to $34.78 an hour.

Main responsibilities

Source, negotiate, and purchase raw materials, packaging, and supplies to support production.

Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.

Plan and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.

Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments to avoid overstocking or shortages.

Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on material needs and delivery timelines.

Analyze data and prepare reports on purchasing, production, and inventory metrics.

Manage supplier performance and resolve any issues related to deliveries, quality, or pricing.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement and production planning processes.

Ensure compliance with company policies, including SOX requirements, for purchasing and financial reporting.
What we are searching for

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field, preferred

Previous experience in procurement, production planning, or supply chain management, preferably in the beverage or food industry.

Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced production environment.

Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Knowledge of SOX compliance and adherence to company purchasing policies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
