Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate - Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and handling of materials within the production environment. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations on the factory floor, supporting quality production processes and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with warehouse and manufacturing environments, and a commitment to safety and process improvement. Responsibilities Handle manual lifting of heavy items while adhering to safety protocols and manual handling best practices Use measuring instruments and technical drawings to verify dimensions and quality standards of materials and assemblies Maintain accurate inventory records by managing stock levels, tracking material movement, and ensuring proper storage Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in material flow or handling procedures Collaborate with manufacturing management to coordinate material supply schedules and optimize workflow Follow safety standards diligently during all handling activities to prevent accidents or injuries Qualifications Proven experience working in a factory or manufacturing facility environment Familiarity with manufacturing processes, assembly line operations, and lean manufacturing principles Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence for heavy lifting tasks Prior experience managing production or assembly teams is advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and process improvement methodologies Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and documentation Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards This role is integral to our manufacturing success.
