Production Associate
Genesis Disposables, LLCPosition Overview: Responsible for supporting the production process and assisting the Production Manager in various tasks related to material handling, cutting, and shipment preparation. This position requires the ability to lift up-to 100-lbs and attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Material Handling: Assist in loading and unloading raw materials for production, ensuring materials are properly staged and organized for production runs. Material Cutting: Collaborate with the production team to cut raw materials accurately according to specified measurements, maintaining precision and minimizing waste. Goods Movement: Safely transport unfinished and finished goods within the facility using appropriate equipment and techniques. This includes lifting objects, bending, and moving pallets. Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying loads weighing upward of 100 pounds safely, using proper lifting techniques. Shipment Preparation: Assist in preparing products for shipment by boxing, taping, wrapping pallets, and ensuring all items are properly labeled and documented. Quality Control: Conduct visual inspection of materials and products to identify any defects or discrepancies, reporting findings to the Production Manager. Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to the Production Manager. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Production Manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations, meet production goals, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to lift objects weighing 100+ pounds, safely. Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on product quality. Ability to calculate accurate measurements using basic math. Ability to operate material handling equipment is a plus (e.g., forklift, pallet jack). Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment. Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Full-Time), Part-Time Benefits: After a 6-month probationary period, employees will receive 1 week of paid vacation. Starting from the first anniversary date, employees will receive 2 weeks of paid vacation annually. No additional employee benefits are currently provided. The Production Associate is an essential part of our production team, contributing to the direct operations of our facility.
