Job Summary: The Production Associate who will be responsible for packing and preparing orders for shipment. Ensuring that all items are properly labeled and packaged, that orders are filled accurately and efficiently, and handling the scrap process. Maintaining a clean and organized work area and following all safety procedures. Job Responsibilities: Package items for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements Inspect products for defects and damages before packaging Ensure accurate labeling and documentation on all packages Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, to move products and materials Process scrap, cut off rolls, and place in recycle bin Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with inventory management by counting and reporting stock levels Communicate with other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines Other duties and tasks as assigned Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to lift heavy objects Attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills Basic math skills Ability to operate a forklift or other warehouse equipment is a plus Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed Safety and Quality oriented with a solution-oriented mindset Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is required Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred Physical Requirements: While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee will be required to: sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time and work on a computer; regularly walk and communicate. Must be comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb stairs frequently throughout each day, and do some lifting. There are times when you will need to walk throughout the manufacturing plant floor or walk between buildings, which includes but is not limited to walking outside, walking up and down stairs, walking across metal grates and potentially being in contact with slippery surfaces.
