Production and store associate

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production and Store Associate to join our vibrant thrift store team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the production process, managing store operations, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Duties Assist in the production process by preparing materials, operating basic equipment, and ensuring quality standards are met Support store management with merchandising, planogram implementation, and visual design to enhance product presentation Handle inventory control through stocking, stock replenishment, and accurate record-keeping using POS systems and mobile devices Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, assisting with product selection, and maintaining a welcoming environment Operate material handling equipment safely for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks; utilize ladders for high shelving as needed Contribute to remodeling and interior design projects by supporting layout changes and visual updates Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store floor, backroom, and production areas to ensure safety and efficiency Requirements Proven supervising experience in retail or production environments with leadership responsibilities Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual design and merchandising tasks Strong understanding of marketing principles and branding strategies to promote products effectively Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases Knowledge of schematics, planogram implementation, and visual merchandising techniques Experience in store management, retail sales, pricing strategies, and POS operations Ability to train team members on store procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation Familiarity with remodeling projects, interior design concepts, and retail store layout planning Skilled in manual handling equipment operation including ladders; capable of heavy lifting safely Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and organizational coordination Basic math skills for pricing adjustments, inventory counts, and sales transactions Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a lively team where your contributions directly impact the shopping experience!
