Position Summary:

In the Schnellecke world, the Production and Logistics Coordinator serves as a central coordination point for operational execution within the business unit, ensuring alignment among warehouse operations, production planning, and customer service expectations. This role is responsible for monitoring workflows, validating operational plans, supporting resource allocation, and driving performance against service-level agreements.


The Production and Logistics Coordinator applies Schnellecke Logistics’ core business technologies, policies, and continuous improvement standards to promote operational excellence, safety, and efficiency. Acting as a key communication link between operations leadership and the client, this position ensures compliance with standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and budget guidelines, while fostering a safe, performance-driven work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, and standards of the organization to achieve the vision of Schnellecke Logistics.
  • Apply Core Business Technologies and/or central procedures to the area of responsibility to ensure the use of best practices at Schnellecke Logistics.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes in their area to develop more robust, efficient procedures.
  • Ensures all warehouse personnel comply with standard operating procedures, personnel policies, and workload demands.
  • Manage resources (human, material, and tools) in operational areas to support the production plan's requirements.
  • Direct processes within the business unit in order to meet the goals of operational service level agreements with the client.
  • Validate the operational plans of action to achieve the quality limits defined by the business unit.
  • Operational excellence for achieving its strategic indicators determines the necessary approaches, focused on tactical initiatives.
  • Authorize the expenditure within the company's allocated budget and in accordance with its policies. 
  • Communication to Schnellecke Logistics and client management.
  • Continuous focus on fostering a safe work environment.
  • Practices safe work procedures and follows all safety rules at all times.
  • Assist with budget planning as required.
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Shift Manager.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Data entry and computer skills may be required
  • Experience in Planning


Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work in a plant and office environment.
  • Must be able to be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, and vibration, wet and humid weather conditions.
  • Exposure to occasionally loud noise levels.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods.
  • Bending and/or reaching may be required.
  • Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on the shop floor to prevent injury to oneself or others.
