Position Overview: Join us in our fast-paced support to develop, advance, and sustain weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and its mission partners. You will be joining a team of personnel with experience and an in-depth understanding of the environments that include ground, near-space, space, and any system that operates in those environments to meet current and projected strategic, operational, and tactical needs for the Department of War (DoW). QinetiQ is a mission-led innovation company that works with the USSF and DoW to design, develop, field, and maintain requirements essential to national security and the survivability of the warfighter. We are seeking Senior Product Support (Logistician) personnel with experience establishing product support strategies that align with acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience identifying required infrastrucures, proceses, and procedures to maintain system capabilities. position requires an individual who can work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure program success. Responsibilities: Provide technical and programmatic assistance to support cradle-to-grave development and sustainment including systems engineering, architecture development and decision making, integrated logistics planning and execution, acquisition assistance, and overall product support. Develop and deliver draft product support requirements documents to ensure product support considerations are incorporated into system acquisitions. Work with Government cross-functional teams to develop accurate assumptions, capture data, and perform data anaysis. Provide guidance and conduct assessments to facilitate informed decisiosn on developing and maturing product support elements and adherence to statutory and regulatory directives. Implement and manage support functions required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of weapon systems, subsystems, and components.
