Product Specialist III - HVAC Division Lead

Wolff Bros. is looking for a Product Specialist III - HVAC Division Lead for our Medina Branch. This Product Specialist will serve in a purchasing and sourcing role. Key tasks include replenishing inventory, overseeing other buyers within the HVAC division, monitoring inventory performance, and managing vendor relationships. Product Specialist III - HVAC Division Lead Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Position Responsibilities Collaborate with the Director of Purchasing to establish, monitor, and improve divisional KPIs, inventory performance, service levels, and profitability. Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Product Specialists to support divisional objectives and professional growth. Manage replenishment purchasing activities for assigned product lines to maintain targeted service levels while optimizing inventory investment and inventory turns. Continuously monitor inventory movement, stocking levels, demand patterns, and product mix to ensure the right inventory is in the right locations at the right time. Identify and execute strategic purchasing opportunities, including forward buys, seasonal purchases, stock buys, buying group promotions, and purchases ahead of manufacturer price increases. Purchase special-order material from assigned vendors and expedite orders when necessary to meet customer requirements. Analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventory and develop strategies with Sales and Marketing to maximize inventory productivity and minimize losses. Develop, maintain, and evaluate vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing, strong support, reliable supply, and alignment with company objectives. Negotiate pricing, rebates, targets, and other supplier programs to maximize profitability and strengthen supplier partnerships. Partner with Sales and Marketing to identify new market opportunities, evaluate product line additions, and develop promotional programs that support growth and inventory objectives. Evaluate new inventory requests and manage the onboarding process for new products and suppliers. Provide Sales with product expertise, product availability information, and guidance regarding market conditions, pricing, and supplier changes. Maintain accurate purchasing and product data within company systems, including pricing, item information, supplier data, inventory settings, and vendor contacts. Communicate product updates, supply disruptions, manufacturing issues, recalls, and pricing changes to appropriate stakeholders throughout the organization. Authorize cost overrides, debit memos, and other purchasing-related transactions within established authority levels. Collaborate with Receiving, Returns, Accounting, and Sales teams to resolve shipment, warranty, return, and supplier-related issues. Perform other duties as assigned.
