We are an AI research lab focused exclusively on video data. Video is now the dominant digital medium, powering creativity, communication, gaming, AR/VR, and robotics. The biggest bottleneck to advancing video modeling is high-quality training data at scale.
We combine:
  • Exabyte-scale video infrastructure
  • Novel video understanding techniques
  • Diverse, large-scale data sources
The team is ~15 people, high-signal, and backed by Tier 1 investors. Revenue is already in the multi-million range.

As Product & Operations Lead, you will be the primary interface between the company and its most important customers — frontier AI labs building cutting-edge models.
This role sits at the intersection of:
  • Product strategy
  • Applied research
  • Customer engagement
  • Revenue expansion
You are not managing contracts. You are shaping how frontier AI labs use video training data.
This role requires someone equally comfortable:
  • Discussing model training pipelines in depth
  • Translating technical requirements internally
  • Navigating commercial conversations with senior stakeholders

What You’ll Own
  • Own and grow relationships with top AI lab customers end-to-end
  • Serve as primary technical point of contact
  • Understand customer model training workflows and data pipelines
  • Translate feedback into clear internal product and engineering briefs
  • Drive renewals and upsells within existing accounts
  • Support new sales cycles through demos and technical scoping
  • Coordinate across engineering and data ops to ensure delivery quality
  • Earn performance bonuses per completed contract

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of ML and AI workflows
  • Familiarity with data pipelines and how dataset quality impacts model performance
  • Ability to hold deep technical conversations with engineers and researchers
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Technical background (CS or related field)
  • Execution & Ownership
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to translate between engineering and business audiences
  • High comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving environments
  • Strong external relationship-building capability
  • In-person presence in San Francisco
  • Existing relationships within frontier AI labs (major green flag)
  • Prior startup experience (early-stage environments)
  • Experience in product, technical operations, or customer-facing technical roles
  • Background in video, media, or content technologies

You:
  • Already have credibility within the AI lab ecosystem
  • Can discuss model training mechanics fluently
  • Are comfortable navigating both technical deep-dives and commercial expansion
  • Thrive in high-intensity, high-output environments
  • View relationship management as a strategic craft
