About the team you are joining IATA’sOperational Compliance Solutions (OCS) and regulations in Cargo and Safety, arethe primary source of information for air transport standards, helping toinform and deliver safety, flight & technical operations and dangerousgoods transportation standards, best practices and guidance material, whilstseeking to improve operational performance and reduce risks.
TheProduct Manager Safety & Dangerous Goods Operations will report to theAssistant Director – DGR Solutions. The successful applicant will be part of astrategic product portfolio that is fundamental to the Safety, Flight/Technicaland Cargo Compliance operations in aviation covering delivery of commerciallylicensed content and digital solutions in Safety and Audit programs, FlightCrew Training, Maintenance, Fuel Efficiency and Dangerous Goods operations.
TheProduct Manager, Safety & Dangerous Goods Operations is responsible fordriving revenue growth, optimizing costs, managing existing products, andleading the development of new digital solution. A key focus will beaccelerating adoption of IATA’s digital software platform among largeenterprise customers, supporting industry-wide digital transformation, anddelivering data-driven insights through business intelligence and competitiveanalysis. The position will also help shape customer engagement strategies andidentify opportunities to enhance and expand the product portfolio.
What your day would be like - Portfolio productmanagement including Lifecycle Management, new product development andideation, launch and end of life activities, pricing, budgeting,forecasting and administration of the portfolio.
• Applying your subjectmatter knowledge and experience, develop and execute strategic businessplans and develop new products for the Safety and Dangerous Goodsportfolio.
• Cultivate strongrelationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and goals.
• Manage and achieve/exceedthe Revenue and Profit targets of the portfolio.
• Define and execute theoverall marketing and sales strategies in collaboration with the Sales and - Marketing groups to drive portfolio growth and new customer acquisition.
• Project Manage thecommercial renewals and assigned Product enhancement feature developmentto a timely delivery, ensuring revenue bookings are kept in line withforecast.
• Work with cross-divisionalSubject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure delivery of planned content, aswell as development of potential new products and associated commercialmarketing collateral (webinars, white papers).
• Manage competitive andmarket intelligence studies as required to support objectives.
• Customers/prospectsengagement – analyze prospects, creating a list of key accounts withproducts from the entire portfolio using data, to create synergies andidentify revenue and new product opportunities across the portfolio. We would love to hear from you if - Passionate ab
