Job Overview The Product Manager, Fleet Management Systems is the commercial and strategic leader for the Fleet Management Systems portfolio. This role owns the portfolio's market direction, commercial performance, market share growth, installed-base expansion, positioning, pricing, lifecycle strategy, and investment priorities. Serving as the face of the product internally and externally, the Product Manager builds a deep understanding of customer needs, regional priorities, market dynamics, competitive alternatives, and customer economics. The role converts those insights into a compelling product strategy, differentiated market position, executable roadmap, and measurable growth plan. The Product Manager works through a focused product leadership team. The Senior Technical Product Specialist owns product capability, requirements, delivery governance, product operations, and portfolio reporting. The Product Specialist, Customer Value & Performance owns adoption, product performance, Value in Use, customer outcomes, and economic value evidence. The Product Marketing & Market Intelligence Manager owns market analysis, positioning, messaging, launches, and sales enablement. This operating model enables the Product Manager to remain focused on strategy, commercial leadership, and portfolio growth. Key Job Responsibilities Commercial Product Leadership: Own the portfolio’s commercial direction and performance, setting growth priorities, targets, and corrective actions based on market, customer, pipeline, and financial data. Product Vision and Strategy: Define a multi-year strategy aligned with customer outcomes, company objectives, market opportunities, portfolio economics, and competitive advantage. Market Share Growth: Increase market penetration, win rates, installed base, retention, adoption, and expansion in priority markets. Portfolio Economics: Own revenue growth, pricing, packaging, licensing, margins, investment returns, and business case realization with Finance and commercial leaders. Installed-Base Growth: Drive active-site growth, feature adoption, expansion, retention, upgrades, and portfolio utilization. Market and Competitive Leadership: Assess market size, segments, competitors, trends, buying criteria, and emerging opportunities to guide strategy and investment. Customer and Regional Leadership: Serve as the product’s market-facing leader and build relationships with strategic customers, regional and sales leaders, distributors, and industry stakeholders. Voice of Customer and Region: Translate customer needs, regional priorities, win-loss insights, and adoption data into portfolio decisions. Portfolio Roadmap and Investment Priorities: Own the roadmap and final prioritization decisions, balancing customer value, revenue, differentiation, feasibility, risk, lifecycle health, and capacity. Business Cases and Investment Decisions: Develop investment proposals with clear outcomes, economics, requirements, risks, success measures, and returns. Lead build, buy, partner, or retire recommendations. Pricing and Commercialization: Establish value-based pricing, packaging, licensing, and commercial models that support growth and sustainable portfolio economics. Go-to-Market Leadership: Set launch objectives and strategy with Product Marketing, Sales, regions, Customer Success, and delivery teams, aligning positioning, readiness, enablement, and success measures.
