Produce/ Grocery/ Front End Associate

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Produce/ Grocery/ Front End Associate and become the vital link in delivering an exceptional shopping experience! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment while providing outstanding customer service. Your proactive approach will ensure that inventory is accurately managed, products are properly merchandised, and customers leave satisfied and eager to return. Duties Stock shelves, produce displays, and ensure product availability through efficient inventory control and merchandising techniques Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely to load, unload, and move merchandise within the store and warehouse areas Utilize RF scanners for accurate inventory management, receiving, and order processes Assist customers with inquiries, product locations, and provide knowledgeable retail store product information to enhance their shopping experience Maintain cleanliness of the store, including aisles, produce sections, and backroom storage areas, following safety and sanitation standards Support receiving activities by unloading deliveries with proper manual handling practices Perform cashiering duties, including processing transactions accurately using retail math skills Requirements Previous retail store experience or grocery store experience is highly preferred Familiarity with inventory management systems and the operation of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (will be trained) Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multilingual or bilingual environment Organizational skills to manage stock levels, maintain product displays, and keep the store tidy Basic math skills for pricing, inventory counts, and retail transactions Experience with manual handling tasks and warehouse operations is a plus Ability to work flexible cross trained duties (front end, back end, cold, and dry departments) and hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high energy levels and positive attitude Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-quality service while developing your retail expertise!
