Produce Clerk

Job Summary As a Produce Clerk, you’ll keep fresh produce stocked, organized, and appealing while helping customers find the items they need. You’ll handle deliveries, maintain clean displays, and support smooth daily grocery operations. Your impact: By keeping produce fresh, accessible, and well presented, you help customers shop confidently and make the department welcoming. Duties Stock, rotate, package, and merchandise produce; check product quality and organize displays. Receive shipments, load and unload deliveries, and move materials using a pallet jack or forklift when authorized. Support inventory control and inventory management by tracking stock, replenishing items, and reporting shortages or damaged products. Clean and maintain produce areas, equipment, and storage spaces; follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy loads. Assist customers with product questions, sales, and cashiering as needed. Skills Essential: Customer service, communication, organizational skills, basic math, safe manual handling, and the ability to lift and move products. Preferred (Not mandatory) : Produce, grocery or retail store experience; warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, stocking, packaging, and materials handling. Retail sales, merchandising, cashiering, maintenance, and retail store product knowledge are valued. Ability to speak both Spanish and English (Preferred) Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week Work Location: In person
