Procurement & Supply Chain Manager
Cottage Dream VacationsAbout Us We are a growing, entrepreneurial group of companies operating across hospitality, short-term accommodations, restaurants, retail, and wellness manufacturing. Our portfolio includes resorts and vacation properties, food and beverage operations, retail locations, and the manufacturing of Canadian-made cedar hot tubs, cold plunges, and saunas. With multiple businesses, locations, and product categories, procurement plays a critical role in our profitability and growth. We are looking for someone who knows how to buy exceptionally well. The Opportunity We are seeking a highly resourceful and commercially minded Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of purchasing, sourcing, supplier negotiations, inventory planning, and supply chain coordination across our portfolio. This is not simply a PO-processing or order-management position. We are looking for a strong negotiator who understands that the first price is rarely the best price. You know how to research the market, create competitive tension between suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, identify alternative sources, and secure the best overall value for the business. You should be able to point to real examples where your negotiation and sourcing skills have resulted in measurable savings, improved payment terms, better service levels, reduced freight costs, or stronger supplier agreements. This role is both strategic and hands-on. One day you may be negotiating pricing on manufacturing components or international freight; the next, sourcing equipment for a resort, reviewing food costs, challenging a supplier increase, or finding a better source for a high-volume item. What You’ll Own Lead sourcing and procurement across our hospitality, restaurant, retail, property, and wellness manufacturing businesses. Negotiate aggressively and professionally with suppliers to achieve the best combination of price, quality, payment terms, lead times, warranties, freight, and service. Regularly benchmark supplier pricing and challenge existing costs rather than automatically renewing or reordering from incumbent vendors. Identify and qualify alternative suppliers to create competition, reduce costs, and minimize supply-chain risk. Negotiate contracts, volume discounts, rebates, payment terms, minimum order quantities, freight arrangements, and other commercial terms. Track and demonstrate measurable procurement savings and cost avoidance. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while protecting the commercial interests of the company. Manage purchasing schedules, inventory requirements, lead times, and logistics across multiple locations. Coordinate domestic and international sourcing, shipping, and supplier timelines. Source food, beverage, operating supplies, equipment, furnishings, maintenance products, and other requirements for hospitality and restaurant operations. Manage sourcing of materials and components used in the production of cedar hot tubs, cold plunges, saunas, and related wellness products. Ensure products and suppliers meet applicable quality, safety, food-safety, CSA/UL, and other regulatory requirements. Review purchasing trends and identify opportunities to consolidate vendors and leverage purchasing volume across the group. Monitor purchasing budgets and purchase orders and work closely with Finance on reporting, invoice discrepancies, reconciliations, and cost controls. Improve procurement systems, approval processes, vendor records, and purchasing visibility across the organization. Proactively identify supply-chain risks and develop practical alternatives before they impact operations. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, or a related role. Demonstrated success negotiating supplier pricing and commercial terms. A track record of producing measurable cost savings through negotiation, competitive sourcing, vendor changes, consolidation, or process improv…
