Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics Manager
JS GLOBAL, LLCResponsible for optimizing an organization's end-to-end supply network. This role oversees strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, inventory control, warehousing, and global distribution to ensure maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Duties/Responsibilities: Direct the purchasing of raw materials, goods, and services. Build and manage vendor relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and establish pricing strategies. Oversee transportation networks, shipping routes, and freight terms. Manage domestic and international freight forwarders, 3PLs (third-party logistics), and shipping operations. Monitor stock levels across internal warehouses and external facilities. Implement inventory control strategies that minimize carrying costs while avoiding supply shortages (stockouts). Analyze demand forecasts, coordinate with sales and production teams, and eliminate supply chain bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery. Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans. Ensure all operations comply with regulatory standards and health and safety requirements. Lead, mentor, and develop procurement, logistics, and inventory teams. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement Subject matter expert on all procurement and materials management issues. Strategic, tactical, personnel, systems, initiatives, etc. Lead the procurement effort in developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives. Skills Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), advanced planning software, and inventory management tools. Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Deep understanding of global trade, market dynamics, and vendor compliance. Strong organizational skills Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred 8–10+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in purchasing, logistics, or operations. Deep understanding of supply chain management principles Experience in procurement within the construction industry
