Procurement Specialist

Role & Responsibilities Independently and collaboratively bid outsourced parts from suppliers, ensuring optimal value for Powersports vehicle production. Evaluate supplier responses, negotiate quotations, and support cost target creation to meet business goals. Develop and implement supplier and part strategies to achieve cost reductions and meet SQCDM objectives. Support design teams by providing input on specifications and cost optimization for critical components. Assist in expanding supply base and sourcing strategies to enhance competitiveness. Maintain strong supplier relationships, exercise signature commitment authority, and support special projects. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field. Minimum of 2+ years' experience, preferably in Powersports or automotive sectors. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities. Knowledge of cost management, blueprints, specifications, and market trends. Ability to operate confidentially and work effectively under pressure. Key Dimensions No direct or indirect reports. Manage over $25M annual outsource spend. Decisions & Working Conditions Make sourcing proposals, approve quotations, and implement cost mitigation tactics. Travel may include overseas trips, with typical frequency of 1-3 times monthly. Primarily desk-based work with occasional exposure to typical office and shop hazards. Overtime may be required based on project needs.
