As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll work closely with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams while gaining exposure to complex supply chain operations. The Procurement Specialist will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by helping prevent material shortages, resolving delivery issues, and supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist
• Monitor open purchase orders, vendor confirmations, and delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive on time for production requirements.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers regarding order status, lead times, backorders, and shipment updates.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, and Production to resolve material-related issues and prevent delays.
• Maintain accurate information within ERP/MRP systems, including delivery dates, tracking information, and vendor communications.
• Assist with receiving discrepancies, documentation review, and supply chain problem resolution to support uninterrupted operations.
Qualifications for the Procurement Specialist
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement coordination, material expediting, supply chain, or a related function.
• Experience working with ERP or MRP systems; Sage X3 experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data tracking and reporting functions.
