Three Tone Enterprise is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support and strengthen our sourcing function. You'll manage day-to-day supplier relationships across every category we buy, from fresh produce to industrial goods, negotiate pricing and terms, and keep supply moving in step with demand. Your work has an immediate impact on in-stock performance, margins, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a hands-on procurement professional who knows how to source, negotiate, and follow through. You understand pallet-level supply chains, appreciate the precision that large retail and e-commerce customers like Amazon demand, and pick up new categories quickly. You're organized, persistent with suppliers, and you keep your pipeline current. You'll thrive here if you like ownership and variety, and want to help shape how a growing company works with its suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers across all categories, from fresh produce to industrial goods. Manage daily supplier communication, including outreach, calls, follow-ups, and resolving order, delivery, and quality issues. Negotiate pricing, volume discounts, rebates, and supply terms within established guidelines, escalating larger commercial agreements as needed. Create and manage purchase orders, tracking them from placement through delivery and receiving. Monitor Amazon purchase orders, sales velocity, and forecasts to place timely replenishment orders and protect in-stock positions. Coordinate pallet-level and bulk purchases with logistics, including freight, delivery schedules, and receiving. Maintain accurate, up-to-date supplier records, pipeline activity, and communications in our CRM. Track supplier performance on cost, lead time, fill rate, and quality, and flag issues early. Analyze pricing and spend data to identify cost-saving and consolidation opportunities. Research new suppliers and products to broaden our sourcing options. Partner with operations, logistics, and e-commerce to align purchasing with demand and replenishment plans. Contribute to improving procurement processes, templates, and supplier communication standards. Qualifications: Confident negotiator who secures favorable terms and holds suppliers to their commitments. Strong analytical skills to compare quotes and evaluate cost, margin, and supplier performance. Excellent verbal and written communication, including comfort handling supplier conversations by phone. Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage many open orders and priorities in a fast-moving environment. Self-starter who follows through without needing to be chased. Proficiency with CRM platforms, spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), and common procurement and e-commerce tools. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain. Hands-on experience negotiating with suppliers on pricing, volume, and terms. Experience managing purchase orders and supplier follow-up from order through delivery. Comfortable sourcing across diverse categories. You learn quickly and don't need to be a specialist to be effective. CRM-disciplined, keeping supplier records and pipeline activity current. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Ability to work on-site in Katy, TX. Preferred: Background in wholesale club retail (Costco, Sam's Club), e-commerce distribution, or pallet-level supply chain. Experience supporting a business where Amazon is a primary customer, including familiarity with Vendor Central, Seller Central, or FBA. Experience sourcing both perishable and non-perishable goods, or heavy and bulky products. Existing relationships with suppliers or manufacturers in relevant categories.
