Procurement Specialist
SuperiorPosition: Procurement Support Specialist Reports to: Senior Procurement Specialist Location: Gahanna, Ohio Salary Range: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates. Superior is looking for a highly-organized and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to provide administrative, coordination, and purchasing support to the Procurement team. The Procurement Coordinator will help ensure reliable day-to-day service for internal customers while supporting strategic sourcing and large-project buyouts. This position will help manage procurement accounts and systems, coordinate orders and deliveries, support quote and bid comparisons. This role is based at our Advanced Logistics and Manufacturing Facility (ALF) in Gahanna, Ohio. Key Responsibilities Administer procurement accounts and systems, including Amazon Business, Staples Advantage, TradeTapp, and other vendor platforms, including user access, onboarding, offboarding, and account maintenance Coordinate routine purchasing needs, including building supplies, hard hats, and other operational needs, and maintain accurate purchasing records Collect vendor quotes, request supplier information, and prepare pricing spreadsheets, quote comparisons, and supporting documentation for purchasing decisions and project buyouts Track purchase orders, confirmations, deliveries, open items, and vendor follow-up, communicating status and escalating exceptions as appropriate Support project purchasing and bid comparisons in coordination with the Procurement team and Project Operations Expedite deliveries and resolve routine order, shipping, pricing, and vendor issues Provide backup support to Inventory and Logistics team Identify and recommend opportunities to improve procurement workflows, documentation, account management, and process consistency Your Expertise Required: You have at least 1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, vendor coordination, or a related role Required: You are proficient in Microsoft Office Bonus Points: You have earned an associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field Bonus Points: You have experience with purchasing or procurement in the construction industry Our Benefits We offer a range of professional and personal perks that you can enjoy as a member of Superior.
