d define and implement category strategies, plans, and processes for sourcing goods and services.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of business drivers and their impact on business strategy.
• Act as a subject matter expert on procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
• Manage key sourcing activities for business projects, ensuring timely delivery, budgeting, and appropriate risk management.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key strategic suppliers and identify potential new partners.
• Monitor compliance with the sourcing process and act as an internal consultant at each stage.
• Develop category or sub-category strategies, plans, and sourcing pipelines.
Essential Skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of procurement and sourcing techniques and supply chain management.
• Experience in procurement or purchasing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Experience with procurement tools such as Word, Excel, and Power BI.
• Experience with purchase order management, RFQ/RFP execution, and cost analysis.
• On-site attendance at project meetings, representing supply chain.
• Experience in supporting change management processes and issuing awards of new scope and change orders.
• Experience in Data Center construction and ELEC and MECH Long Lead Procurement.
Work Environment
This position is located onsite in LaPorte, Indiana, or Elkhart, Indiana, with a standard 40-hour work week. The role requires the use of specific equipment including a monitor, keyboard, headset, mouse, Class 2 Safety Helmet, and other safety gear. The workspace is equipped for Bluebeam use. The role involves working in a dynamic environment, requiring personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, composite toe work boots, and reflective jackets suitable for cold and wet weather.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $51.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
