Procurement Specialist

As our U.S. operations continue to expand, we are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support supplier sourcing, purchasing activities, cost control, and vendor management. This role is ideal for candidates with procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience who can effectively manage the purchasing process, negotiate with suppliers, monitor delivery schedules, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring materials and services meet project and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers. Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements. Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and conduct regular performance reviews. Purchasing Process: Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery. Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Monitor inventory levels and anticipate purchasing needs. Cost Management: Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize spending. Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier performance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supplier management preferred. Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Familiar with purchase orders, purchasing processes, and supplier coordination. Strong analytical and cost awareness skills. Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with ERP or purchasing systems. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple purchasing requests.
