Procurement Specialist
The Phoenix GroupA leading professional services organization specializing in procurement and contract management is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support daily operational activities and administrative functions within the procurement department. Role Overview This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of procurement operations by managing essential administrative tasks, supporting data entry, and ensuring seamless procurement workflows within a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Obtain quotes, issue purchase orders, and secure spend approvals to facilitate procurement activities Coordinate signatures and approval workflows, including document management systems such as DocuSign and iManage Manage business card programs and related administrative tasks Perform data entry, data processing, and research to support procurement processes Follow established procedures and instructions for manual tasks and procurement transactions Maintain accurate records within procurement systems and documentation workflows Support hybrid work schedules, primarily working in-office with remote flexibility as needed Collaborate with procurement, contracts, and administrative teams to streamline procurement operations Core Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in procurement, data entry, or administrative roles involving data processing and research Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data management Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with electronic signature platforms such as DocuSign Ability to take detailed instructions and perform manual data processing tasks accurately Familiarity with document management systems, preferably iManage or similar platforms Strong research skills and ability to process information efficiently Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Nice-to-Have Qualifications Direct buying or procurement experience in a corporate environment Experience working with procurement systems or business card management programs Exposure to hybrid work models and supporting procurement teams in multiple locations Core Technical Skills Procurement administration, data entry, and processing workflows Spend authorization and approval management Document management and electronic signature platforms (DocuSign, iManage) MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) Procurement systems, data research tools, and workflow coordination Career Impact Joining this organization provides the opportunity to build foundational procurement expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within a leading professional services firm.
