Procurement Specialist

Pecos Valley Production is looking for an organized, dependable Procurement Specialist to support our cultivation, manufacturing, and retail operations. In this role, you’ll coordinate purchases, work with vendors, track deliveries, and help our teams get the materials and supplies they need to keep operations moving. We’re looking for someone who follows through, pays attention to details, and communicates early when an order or supply issue needs attention. What You’ll Do · Purchase materials, packaging, equipment, parts, and supplies across multiple departments. · Review purchasing requests for accurate specifications, quantities, approvals, and delivery needs. · Compare vendor quotes and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery arrangements within your purchasing authority. · Prepare purchase orders and track outstanding orders through delivery. · Keep department leaders informed of delays, shortages, and order changes. · Coordinate with teams to maintain critical supplies and plan for upcoming production needs and product launches. · Verify deliveries and resolve incorrect orders, damaged shipments, returns, and warranty claims. · Work with Finance to reconcile purchase orders, receiving records, and invoices. · Maintain accurate vendor information, purchasing records, and order status reports. · Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and reliable service. What We’re Looking For · High school diploma or equivalent required; education in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred. · Two or more years of purchasing, procurement, inventory coordination, or related experience preferred. · Experience supporting manufacturing, cultivation, warehouse, or retail operations is a plus. · Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, email, and purchasing or inventory systems. · Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Ability to manage competing priorities and follow through on multiple orders. · Attention to detail when reviewing pricing, quantities, specifications, and invoices. · Sound judgment, responsible spending habits, and respect for confidential business information. Work Environment This position is based in Roswell, NM, and works with teams in office, warehouse, cultivation, and production settings. Duties may include walking between departments and inspecting deliveries. Required personal protective equipment must be worn in designated areas.
