Procurement Specialist (Contract) Pay: $30.00/hour Location: Orlando, FL (On-site) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift (approx. 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) Type: Contract / full-time hours (~40 hrs/week) Openings: 1 Position Overview We’re seeking a Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities for multiple projects, with a focus on tactical execution of purchase order schedules and expediting material deliveries. You’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to keep timelines on track, resolve issues, and improve supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities Manage procurement work queues and ensure purchase orders are issued on time Partner with internal customers to support project needs and customer care Manage supplier relationships (including negotiating price increase requests and resolving invoicing/payment issues) Support supplier qualification, selection, evaluation, and development efforts Maintain procurement documentation and contract management records Monitor purchase orders and supplier performance (confirmations, progress, schedule adherence, quality requirements) Support transportation/logistics and customs compliance in partnership with logistics teams Provide weekly schedule progress reports Collaborate with global project management and material planning teams Required Qualifications 3+ years of direct procurement experience Strong SAP transactional experience Advanced Excel skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with deadlines Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills Experience working in complex/global organizations (preferred) Additional Notes On-site presence is required.
