The primary purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day administrative and purchasing coordination support to a Korean expatriate procurement professional assigned to the project. You will work under the guidance of the on-site procurement lead, help keep tasks and information organized, and coordinate with U.S. vendors, project teams, and colleagues in Korea. This is a support role, not an independent purchasing manager position. Prior procurement experience is not required. We welcome candidates who are responsible, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and willing to take initiative. Job-specific purchasing processes and systems will be taught on the job. 🌐 Learn more about SK AX USA: https://www.skaxus.com ________________________________________ 🧠 Key Responsibilities ✅ Purchasing and Order Support • Help the procurement lead collect purchase requests, specifications, vendor quotes, and supporting documents. • Prepare draft RFQs, quote comparisons, purchase order documents, and order tracking sheets for review and approval. • Track purchase order status, expected delivery dates, outstanding items, and action items; follow up promptly as directed. ✅ Vendor and Site Communication • Communicate with U.S. suppliers to request information, confirm order details, and obtain shipment or delivery updates. • Coordinate basic purchasing information among the on-site procurement lead, SK hynix project contacts, SK AX USA teams, and Korean stakeholders. • Provide practical Korean–English translation, email coordination, and meeting follow-up when needed. ✅ Receiving, Invoices & Records • Assist with delivery scheduling, receiving confirmation, and gathering packing slips or delivery records. • Help compare quotes, POs, receipts, and invoices and flag differences to the procurement lead. • Keep vendor contacts, quotations, purchase records, contract files, and status reports organized and current. ✅ General Project Support • Prepare simple Excel reports, meeting notes, trackers, and follow-up reminders. • Escalate schedule changes, missing documents, or supplier issues rather than making unauthorized purchasing commitments. • Learn and follow applicable purchasing approval, confidentiality, safety, and documentation procedures. ________________________________________ 📚 Qualifications and Requirements ✅ Experience and Knowledge • Professional working proficiency in both Korean and English (written and spoken) is required. • Strong reliability, initiative, follow-through, accuracy, and a positive willingness to learn. • Good interpersonal communication and ability to work with vendors and multicultural teams. • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; ability to learn new systems. • Able to organize multiple requests, maintain records, and ask questions when instructions are unclear. • Previous office administration, purchasing, logistics, or vendor coordination experience is a plus—not a requirement. 🙌 Training & Scope of Authority • The selected candidate will receive hands-on guidance from the on-site procurement lead. • The role focuses on coordination, document preparation, tracking, and follow-up. • Supplier selection, pricing negotiations, contract commitments, and final purchasing approvals remain with designated authorized personnel. ________________________________________ 🛡 Equal Employment Opportunity SK AX USA, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
