WV Department of Human ServicesGeneral Description Responsible for tracking all payments processed for check payment to ensure they have been paid and up to date. Maintain a variety of accounts, process payments to utilities and vendors to pay for supplies, materials, and other expenses. Key all purchase orders in Financials in WV OASIS to pay invoices that cannot be paid via credit card. This position will be a purchase cardholder that will be responsible for paying invoices and ordering supplies. This position will cross train in Central Supply. Mandatory overtime is an essential job function of this position. Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a criminal background check and a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Welch Community Hospital is a tobacco free campus. Position 0512P01075 Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Experience None. Internal Applicants Only One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience as an Inventory Control Associate or in the Accounting Specialist series may substitute for the required education. Substitution Information: Additional full-time or equivalent part-time experience in purchasing for any unit of government, or for any business, commercial, or industrial enterprise may substitute based on a year-for-year basis or as determined by the Office of Shared Administration Equivalency Chart.
