Title: Procurement & Sourcing Specialist Location: Clayton, NC (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 1 Year Status: Accepting Candidates About the role We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Sourcing Specialist to support purchasing, material planning, inventory management, and strategic sourcing activities within a manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with production and supply chain teams to ensure timely material availability. Key Responsibilities • Manage purchasing of MRO, inventory materials, hardware, and consumables. • Create and manage purchase orders using SAP/MRP systems and support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities. • Plan, schedule, track, and expedite materials based on production requirements. • Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and maintain strong supplier relationships. • Support inventory planning, minimum stock levels, BOMs, and production schedules. • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives focused on cost, quality, and operational efficiency. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience. • 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, material planning, inventory, or production control. • Strong Procure-to-Pay (P2P) experience. • Experience with SAP , particularly MM, PP, and/or FI/CO . • Strong procurement and sourcing experience. • Experience with MRP/inventory systems and supplier management. • Pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing industry experience preferred. • APICS or purchasing-related certification preferred.
