Procurement Sales Agent

Job Description The Procurement Sales Agent is a self-motivated, ambitious produce salesperson with experience buying and selling produce. This person will manage the procurement process to ensure that purchasing activities are profitable, well organized, timely, and in compliance with company policies. This person will generate additional business for the brand by working directly with growers and our distributor partners. Who we are: Fresh Alliance, a Buyers Edge Platform brand, provides procurement services to distributors and foodservice operators with over 50+ years of experience in the fresh category. They procure products directly from 100+ premium grower/shippers and fresh processors, to deliver the best in quality and price. With a commitment to freshness, streamlined logistics, and k-12 services, Fresh Alliance redefines the industry standard, delivering a comprehensive solution and leverages high performance contracts supported by a wide variety of clients. Fresh Alliance is an integral part of the Fresh Division as it directly works with both Fresh Concepts and Produce Alliance providing a direct sourcing and contracting resources to their end user customers. This position will be based out of our Suwanee. GA office. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. Your impact: Engage with quality customers/distributors to initiate new business. Responsible for sales, retention and growth of company assigned customers. Receive and confirm purchase orders via e-mail/phone. Handle customer claims and collections. High volume customer calling is a must. Monitor order statuses, delivery schedules, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely receipt of goods and services. Communicate effectively with suppliers to confirm shipping details and resolve delivery or invoice issues. Collaborate internally with contracts and pricing teams. About you: Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications. Must have strong professional communication skills, problem solving skills. Must be detail oriented and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines. Requires guidance and instruction throughout Experience buying and selling produce preferred. Four-year college degree or suitable industry experience preferred.
