Clark AssociatesJob Summary The Procurement Operations Pricing Analyst is responsible for executing and maintaining pricing strategies that drive sales growth, optimize gross profit, and improve operating margins. This role leverages data-driven insights to analyze pricing performance, monitor competitive trends, and ensure pricing consistency across product categories and distribution channels. Responsibilities Pricing Strategy Execution Execute pricing strategies aligned with organizational goals for sales, gross profit, and operating margin Support cross-functional teams by implementing pricing initiatives and promotional strategies Understand implications to volume and profit when adjusting pricing to respond to sales trends or competitor pricing Data Analysis & Market Insights Analyze sales trends across categories and product lines to identify areas to evaluate market pricing Monitor competitor pricing and market conditions Deliver market insights through reporting and ad hoc analysis Catalog & Pricing Structure Management Leverage pricing frameworks across different value tiers of products & brands Maintain and enhance pricing structures to execute on the strategy of our catalog Contribute to building and enhancing pricing tools to enable strategic pricing decisions & track financial impact Channel Pricing Management Manage pricing strategies across multiple distribution channels Support channel optimization initiatives Pricing Hygiene & Reporting Utilize pricing hygiene reporting to ensure cleanliness of our catalog’s pricing Correct pricing discrepancies, gaps, and inconsistencies Follow catalog pricing governance standards Process Improvement & Scalability Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes Support automation and system improvements Collaborate to improve tools, reporting, and efficiency Physical Requirements Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer. Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching. Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs. Remote Work Qualifications Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks. Access to a home router and modem. A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible). A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment. Experience Required 0-3+ years of experience in pricing, procurement, finance, or analytics Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Excel Preferred Experience in procurement operations, category management, or merchandising Familiarity with pricing tools, ERP systems, or Power BI Understanding of pricing strategies and margin optimization Education This role does not require a degree.
